1. Definitions
- "School", "We", "Us", "Our" — Kelip Akademi, operating from 6 Lorong Abu Siti, 10400 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.
- "Learner", "You" — any person who enquires about, enrols in, or participates in a programme offered by the school.
- "Programme" — any course, module or pathway offered by Kelip Akademi, including the Full AI Engineering Pathway, the Model Deployment and Operations Module and the Weekend Foundations in Data and Statistics course.
- "Content" — all curriculum materials, recordings, feedback documents, exercises and resources provided as part of a programme.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any enrolment confirmation issued by the school.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form, completing an enrolment or attending any programme session, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not submit an enquiry or enrol.
Programmes are open to persons aged 18 or above. By enrolling, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.
3. Programme Description
The school offers structured, cohort-based AI engineering programmes in English, delivered online with some optional in-person sessions at our George Town premises. Detailed descriptions, schedules and prerequisites are published on the website and confirmed at enrolment.
Programmes are available to learners in Malaysia and internationally, subject to cohort availability. The school reserves the right to limit enrolment to maintain cohort size constraints.
4. Learner Access and Accounts
Access to programme materials is provided through the school's learning platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.
Sharing account credentials with others is not permitted. The school may suspend access if misuse is detected.
5. Learner Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Submit your own work for all assessments and exercises
- Respect the time and contributions of mentors and fellow learners
- Not reproduce, distribute or resell programme content without written permission
- Not use programme communications channels for commercial solicitation
- Notify the school promptly if you need to pause or withdraw from a programme
The school may remove a learner from a programme without refund if these responsibilities are materially breached.
6. Intellectual Property
All curriculum content, recordings, materials and feedback documents produced by the school are the intellectual property of Kelip Akademi. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use programme content for your own personal learning during and after the programme period.
You retain ownership of any work you produce as part of a programme exercise or capstone, subject to the school's right to use anonymised summaries for programme improvement purposes.
7. Payment Terms
All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Current fees are:
- Full AI Engineering Pathway: RM 625
- Model Deployment and Operations Module: RM 345
- Weekend Foundations in Data and Statistics: RM 130
Payment is required to confirm enrolment. The school accepts payment by bank transfer and credit or debit card through our payment provider. Instalment arrangements are available on request and must be agreed before the cohort start date.
Refund policy
- Cancellation more than 14 days before cohort start: full refund
- Cancellation 7–14 days before cohort start: 50% refund
- Cancellation fewer than 7 days before cohort start: no refund
- Withdrawal after cohort start: no refund for the current module
8. Programme-Specific Terms
The school publishes its completion rates and median cohort sizes for each programme on request. These figures are informational and do not constitute a commitment regarding individual outcomes.
The Full AI Engineering Pathway may be paused between modules. Pause requests must be submitted in writing before the end of the current module. The school will confirm the next available cohort placement within 5 working days.
Weekend Foundations recordings are available to enrolled learners for 12 months from the cohort start date.
The school does not issue certificates of completion. Programme completion is confirmed by written notification to the learner's registered email address.
9. Disclaimers
Programmes are provided as described. The school does not represent that completion of any programme will lead to a particular employment outcome, salary change or professional result.
The school does not provide legal, financial or regulated professional advice. Programme content is educational in nature.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, the school's total liability in connection with any programme shall not exceed the fee paid for that programme.
The school is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from participation in or inability to access a programme, including but not limited to loss of earnings or data.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify the school against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of programme content or your infringement of any third party's rights in connection with your programme participation.
12. Termination
Either party may end participation in a programme by written notice. The school may terminate access immediately in cases of material breach of Section 5 (Learner Responsibilities).
Sections 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination of this Agreement.
13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution of any dispute within 30 days of written notice before commencing formal proceedings.
Disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Penang, Malaysia.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding programme participation.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under this Agreement without the school's written consent.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected].
15. Changes to These Terms
The school may update these Terms from time to time. Enrolled learners will be notified by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued participation in a programme after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
